Who sells Payt

Payt is made by MOONBASE69, a brand of SemperUnum BV (the Netherlands). The Windows version is sold through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller (merchant of record) of your order: it handles payment, VAT and invoices, and its buyer terms also apply to the purchase. The Android version is sold through Google Play, under Google's terms.

Your licence

When you buy Payt, you receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use Payt on the computers and devices you use yourself. The licence cannot be transferred to someone else without our written permission. Payt itself remains the property of SemperUnum BV.

What you make is yours

Everything you make with Payt belongs to you. You may use the sounds, recordings and music you create, also in commercial releases, without paying royalties. Presets you make yourself are yours to share.

What is not allowed

You may not copy, share, sell, rent or publish Payt or your licence key, and you may not decompile or modify Payt or get around its protection, except where the law expressly allows it. The factory presets may not be sold or distributed as a separate sound pack.

Updates

We release updates to improve Payt. Updates within the version you bought (for example 1.x) are free.

Warranty and liability

We take great care with Payt, but it is provided as is, without a guarantee that it works without errors on every system. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage such as lost work or lost income, and our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Payt. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your own country.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be published on this page with a new date. The terms that applied when you bought Payt remain valid for that purchase.
